One of our most well-known services is Counseling. Our Licensed Mental Health Practitioners represent a combined experience of over 40 years in the field of mental health. Each is prepared to meet the needs of individuals, couples, families and children.
Counseling is provided to all clients regardless of religion, gender, ethnicity or ability to pay.
We accept most major insurance plans.
We are prepared to provide counseling by developing an individualized treatment plan in partnership with the client.
Your first appointment is called a Diagnostic Interview Exam at a cost of $185. This initial appointment will last one hour.
Depending on your course of treatment thereafter, counseling sessions will cost between $90 to $185. Each session’s duration varies from 30-60 minutes in length.
(See specific costs for therapy sessions under Good Faith Estimate). It is important to know which services are covered under your specific insurance plan, as plans vary.
JFS works with most insurance companies including Medicaid and Medicare. We also offer lower fees for those without insurance, called a Sliding Scale Fee.
To qualify for this reduced fee you will be required to show proof of income and proof of total household income. In addition to income, the qualifying fee is also determined by the number of people living in the household.
Privacy is our top priority. All client records and services rendered are protected in strict confidence and adheres to all HIPAA regulations.
